Accessibility Statement
Our commitment to an inclusive and accessible experience for every client.
Governing Legal Framework
This statement is made under the Persons with Disabilities Rights Protection Act 2074 B.S. (2017 A.D.) (Apanga Byaktiharuको Adhikar Suraksha Ain 2074), Nepal's primary legislation protecting the rights of persons with disabilities, and consistent with Nepal's obligations under the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD), ratified by Nepal in 2010. We are also guided by the Right to Information Act 2064 B.S.and international Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1).
1. Our Commitment
Glow & Grace Beauty Services is committed to ensuring that our services — both digital and physical — are accessible to everyone, including persons with disabilities. We believe beauty is universal, and that every client deserves to experience our services with dignity and ease.
We continuously work to improve accessibility across our website, studio environments, and service delivery to remove barriers and foster inclusivity.
Under Persons with Disabilities Rights Protection Act 2074, Section 3
Persons with disabilities have the right to equal participation in all social, economic, and cultural activities. Service providers are required to take reasonable steps to ensure their services are accessible. Glow & Grace is committed to fulfilling this obligation.
2. Digital Accessibility — Website
Conformance Target
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, as the recognised international standard for web accessibility. Our website is developed with semantic HTML, keyboard navigability, and screen-reader compatibility as primary considerations.
Features Implemented
- Semantic HTML5 structure with appropriate heading hierarchy (H1 → H2 → H3)
- All images include descriptive
alttext attributes - Colour contrast ratios meet WCAG AA minimum requirements (4.5:1 for normal text)
- All interactive elements are keyboard-accessible and have visible focus indicators
- Form fields include descriptive labels and clear error messaging
- Language declared in the HTML
langattribute to support screen readers - No content flashes more than 3 times per second (seizure risk prevention)
- Mobile-responsive design at all viewport sizes
- Support for browser-level text resizing up to 200% without loss of content or functionality
Known Limitations
We are aware that some areas of our website may not yet fully meet WCAG 2.1 AA, particularly:
- Some image gallery content may have limited alt text descriptions — we are working to improve these
- Third-party embedded content (booking widgets, social media feeds) may have accessibility limitations outside our direct control
We have a roadmap to address these issues and conduct periodic accessibility audits.

Failure to do so may constitute an offence under Section 23 of the Act.
Glow & Grace is committed to ongoing compliance and views accessibility as a core business value, not merely a legal obligation.
6. Ongoing Improvement
Accessibility is not a one-time effort. Our commitments include:
- Annual website accessibility audit against WCAG 2.1 AA
- Accessibility considered in all new website features and studio fit-outs
- Team training on serving clients with disabilities with respect and professionalism
