Please read these terms carefully before booking or using any Glow & Grace service.
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the services provided by Glow & Grace Beauty Services (“Glow & Grace”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) across all our studio locations in Nepal and through our website at glowgrace.net. By booking or receiving any service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
Governing Legal Framework
These Terms are made in accordance with the Muluki Civil Code 2074 B.S. (2017 A.D.) (contract and obligation provisions), the Consumer Protection Act 2075 B.S. (2018 A.D.), the Electronic Transaction Act 2063 B.S. (2006 A.D.), and the Value Added Tax Act 2052 B.S. (1995 A.D.).

2. Services & Bookings
All services are subject to availability. We reserve the right to modify service offerings, pricing, or availability without prior notice, subject to honouring existing confirmed bookings.
A booking is only confirmed once you receive a written confirmation via WhatsApp or email from Glow & Grace. Verbal confirmations alone do not constitute a binding booking.
We reserve the right to decline or discontinue a booking at our reasonable discretion, including where a client has previously failed to attend appointments, has been abusive toward staff, or where providing the service would pose a health or safety risk.
Under Consumer Protection Act 2075, Section 7
You are entitled to receive services of the quality and standard as described or advertised. If a service does not meet the agreed standard, you have the right to raise a complaint and seek remedy as outlined in our Refund Policy.
3. Pricing & Value Added Tax
All prices displayed are in Nepalese Rupees (NPR). Prices are inclusive of the applicable 13% Value Added Tax (VAT) as required under the Value Added Tax Act 2052 B.S. (1995 A.D.) and subsequent amendments. A VAT invoice will be issued upon request.
Prices are subject to change. The price applicable to your booking is the price confirmed at the time of booking. Promotional and seasonal pricing is subject to specific terms stated at the time of the offer.
4. Payment Methods
We accept the following payment methods at all Glow & Grace studios:
- Cash in Nepalese Rupees (NPR)
- Debit and credit cards (Visa, Mastercard)
- eSewa (regulated by Nepal Rastra Bank under Payment and Settlement Bylaws 2072)
- Khalti Digital Wallet
- Connect IPS (NCHL)
- Mobile banking transfers from Nepal-licensed banks
Full payment is due upon completion of each service. For bridal and package bookings, a deposit is required at the time of booking (see Section 5). Digital payment receipts are valid as proof of payment under the Electronic Transaction Act 2063 B.S.
5. Deposits
Standard Appointments
Deposits may be required during peak seasons (Dashain, Tihar, and wedding season, approximately Kartik–Chaitra). The deposit amount will be communicated at the time of booking.
Bridal & Package Bookings
A non-refundable deposit of 30% of the total package value is required to confirm all bridal and package bookings. Group bookings of four or more persons require a 50% deposit. The deposit must be paid within 48 hours of receiving your booking confirmation; failure to pay within this period will result in the booking being released.
Deposits constitute partial consideration for the contract and are non-refundable in accordance with applicable provisions of the Muluki Civil Code 2074, except where Glow & Grace cancels the booking (see Section 8).
6. Cancellation & Rescheduling
Cancellation and rescheduling terms are governed by our dedicated Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these Terms by reference.
7. Patch Tests & Health Disclosure
Clients undergoing chemical treatments (hair colour, keratin, chemical straightening), lash tints, brow tints, or mehendi applications are strongly advised to request a patch test at least 48 hours before their appointment.
You are required to disclose any known allergies, skin conditions, recent cosmetic procedures, medications, or pregnancies to your artist before any service commences. Glow & Grace accepts no liability for adverse reactions resulting from failure to disclose relevant medical information.
Certain conditions may contra-indicate specific treatments. We reserve the right to decline or modify a service where we reasonably believe it may pose a risk to your health or safety. This is consistent with our obligations under the Public Health Service Act 2075 B.S.
8. Service Quality & Results
Our artists take all reasonable care to achieve the result agreed during your consultation. However, individual outcomes may vary depending on hair type, skin condition, texture, and other personal factors that are outside our control.
If you are dissatisfied with the result of a service, you must raise your concern with the studio manager before leaving the studio or within 24 hours of your appointment. Concerns raised after this period may not be eligible for a remedy.
Our remedies are governed by our Refund Policy. Under the Consumer Protection Act 2075, Section 8, you have the right to a remedy where a service was demonstrably defective or failed to meet the described standard.
9. Photography & Social Media
Glow & Grace may photograph completed work (hair, makeup, mehendi, nails) for portfolio, website, and social media use. We will always seek your verbal consent before photographing your work. You may decline at any time.
If we share images in which you are identifiable, we will request your written consent. You may withdraw consent at any time by contacting us at hello@glowgrace.net. Withdrawal of consent does not retroactively remove images that have already been published.
Clients are welcome to photograph their completed results. We ask that you refrain from photographing other clients without their consent, in accordance with the Individual Privacy Act 2075 B.S. (2018 A.D.).
10. Client Conduct
We are committed to providing a welcoming and respectful environment for all clients and staff. We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue service to any client who is abusive, intoxicated, or whose behaviour causes distress to our team or other clients. No refund will be issued in such cases.

14. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Nepali law, our total liability for any claim arising from a service is limited to the price paid for that specific service. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for any rights you have as a consumer under the Consumer Protection Act 2075 that cannot be excluded by contract.
15. Data Protection
We process your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the Individual Privacy Act 2075 B.S. By booking our services, you consent to the collection and use of your data as described in that policy.
16. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Nepal, including the Muluki Civil Code 2074 B.S., the Consumer Protection Act 2075 B.S., and the Electronic Transaction Act 2063 B.S.
Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Kathmandu Metropolitan City, Nepal.
